How it works

  1. Agreeing the layoutWe agree where the indoor and the outdoor unit go, and which way the pipework runs.
  2. Brackets and wall openingWe fit the brackets, drill through the wall, and pull the pipes and the cable through.
  3. Connection and vacuumingWe connect the copper pipes and evacuate the system with a vacuum pump. This step is essential for the life of the unit, and it is the one most often skipped.
  4. Condensate drainBy gravity, or with a pump if the layout needs one.
  5. Commissioning and handoverWe set it up, test it in both cooling and heating mode, and show you how to use it.

Frequently asked questions

How much does installation cost?Standard installation is 100 000 HUF, and the mounting material is included: fitting the indoor and outdoor unit, drilling through the wall, vacuuming the system, commissioning, plus the insulated copper pipe, the cable, the trunking, the bracket and the condensate drain.
What does standard installation mean?Up to 3 running metres of insulated copper pipe, the supply and interconnecting cable, the condensate drain, the wall bracket, the anti-vibration pads and the trunking. Anything above that we charge per metre.
What costs extra?Pipe runs longer than 3 metres, work from scaffolding or a cherry picker, a pumped condensate drain, drilling through concrete, and a separate support structure for the outdoor unit if one is needed.
How long does it take?Installing one indoor unit typically takes half a day. With several units, or where the installation is difficult, a full day.
What do I need to prepare?Nothing. We agree where the unit goes, and we bring the tools and the material. It helps if the place for the indoor unit is clear and accessible.
